Earlier today, Dell released another “recommended” Studio XPS 435MT BIOS update – version 1.1.2.
The new release includes:
Fixes/Enhancements:
1.Update Intel CPU Micro Code.
2.Fan Curve Parameters update.
Dell suggests users install the latest version of the BIOS, available here. Who knows – maybe this BIOS will aid in mitigating the fan noise issues many 435MT owners have been concerned about.

@mrg3dit2002: I contacted Dell last night about the broken download and they said there was “server maintenance” and to check back today.
Clearly, nothing has been resolved. as of 8:08 am PT.
I can’t get the 1.1.2 BIOS update either. I don’t buy the “server maintenance” explanation. I can get 1.1.1 with no problem.
i got ahold of dell today…..well that was a waste of a 1/2 day!!!
the link well thay have no clue,thay tryed to use it like thay didnt know lol.
the errors i get b4 the pc POST’s o well its windows fault lol dell,never again!
Strangely enough, the download still does not work when trying to get it via Firefox.
However, it DOES work if you try via IE…conspiracy? Good times.
