[Update: Full lineup (complete with poster and video) added after the break.]

After months of waiting and wild speculation, the 2009 SF Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival initial lineup has finally been revealed (early!) via a peel-down ad on SFGate.com. (Not surprisingly, news of the “leak” broke on Twitter.)

The 3-day event in Golden Gate Park will be headlined by Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews Band, and the Beastie Boys. Other artists announced so far include: Incubus, Black Eyed Peas, M.I.A., Jason Mraz, The Mars Volta, Thievery Corporation, Modest Mouse, Ween, “and many more!!!”

Maybe not quite the lineup I had in mind (esp. in light of 2008’s incredibly strong group of artists), but so far, not too bad. Although, in some ways, it kinda sounds like a 90’s reunion of sorts (maybe this article has a point?). Ticket pre-sales start April 15 @ 10 AM (PST). For more, visit SFOutsideLands.com.

Here is the initial 2009 lineup:
